Horizon
If You can’t download paid apps from Google Market, it’s also available at AndAppStore via PayPal!
Horizon is a bit difficult to use. Please read this explanation. If You’re already familiar with Android, You may want to fast forward a bit. It’s a one time task.
This app can not be launched from the regular menu or directly after installing. This is a security feature! You have to create an icon on Your homescreen: a Widget. It’s like the search bar or music player controls on Your homescreen – but this widget looks just like another app You choose.
- Longpress a free spot on Your homescreen.
- There You can select “Widgets”.

- Within that list You’ll find the same Icon captioned “Disguised Icon” – touch that.

- Afterwards this icon will appear on Your homescreen called “Theme me!”.

- Now You can open Cheatalot for the first time!
- Select a “Disguise Application” by pressing the “menu” button on Your phone.

- The list will take a while to load if You have lots of apps installed. I’m working on that.
- Just select any application you want, eg. the calculator.
- Now go back to Your homescreen by pressing the “back” button of your phone – don’t use the home button, it’ll deactivate the following secret opening sequence:
- The icon on Your homescreen now looks like the calculator and also has it’s name.

- If You touch it, your phone will vibrate for a shor time.
- Now You got one second to shake Your phone. If You don’t shake hard enough, the calculator will open. Otherwise You’ll get to Cheatalot.
This way nobody will find a suspicious app called “Horizon” within Your regular applications. Only You know what homescreen icon is the real Horizon. And if someone touches that icon by accident, there’s still the shake-lock.
This is the most advanced hiding feature I could implement. It’s a bit difficult to use at first – but that’s a one-time action.
